Two population with major population rather gerrimandered;
Isolated population in sw. Ethiopia and se. Sudan in the Boma Hills. S. Somalia, Uganda (Kabalega Falls), Kenya (w. highlands and along the Tana River), Rwanda, Burundi, e. and s. Zaire, Tanzania (s. along the Rift Valley highlands and w. lowland forests), Zanzibar Is., Pemba Is., Malawi, sw. and ec. Angola, ex. w. Zaire, Cabinda and ex. s. Congo and s. along the escarpment, Namibia (e. Caprivi Strip), n. Botswana, Zambia, n. and e. Zimbabwe, Mozambique and e. and s. South Africa in e. Transvaal, Swaziland, Natal s. to the Knysna Forest.
