W. to e. Africa and tropical s. Africa;
(1) Sw. Mauritania, Senegambia, Guinea-Bissau, s. Mali, Burkina Faso, s. Niger, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, the Central African Republic and n. Zaire.
(2) Sudan and w. Ethiopia.
(3) Ethiopia and Eritrea to Somalia, Kenya and Tanzania.
(4) S. Zaire and Tanzania to Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, ne. Namibia and e. South Africa (Natal).
(5) Sw. Angola, sw. Zambia, n. and e. Botswana.
