Range

Ne., e. and Amazonian South America;
(1) Ne. Peru probably from the mouth of the Rio Huallaga e. to along the Rio Ucayali near the mouth of the Rio Napo.
(2) E. of the Andes in ne. Colombia through n. and e. Venezuela, Trinidad, Tobago, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana to e. Brazil (Para to e. Bahia).
(3) Amazonian nw. Brazil n. of the Amazon e. to the mouths of the Rio Trombetas and Rio Negro and se. Colombia, e. Ecuador and ne. Peru along the upper Rio Ucayali.
