Range

C. Central America. N. South America. W. South America;
Three widely separated populations with fragmented distributions;
(1) C. Mexico (San Luis Potosi and s. Tamaulipas s. along both slopes to Yucatan and offshore island, Oaxaca) to Guatemala and Belize.
(2) El Salvador to Costa Rica.
(3) Old Providence Is. and St. Andrews Is.
(4) W. Colombia, w. Ecuador and Peru.
(5) Nw. Venezuela.
