C. Central America s. to c. South America;
(1) Caribbean slope of s. Mexico (Veracruz, n. Oaxaca and Chiapas) s. to Honduras, both slopes of Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama and then from Colombia s. w. of the Andes to w. Ecuador and e. of the Andes to Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, e. Ecuador, e. Peru, n. and e. Bolivia and Amazonian Brazil.
