W. United States to c. Central America;
Two populations;
W. United States from nc. Idaho, n. Utah and n. Wyoming s. to se. California, s. Arizona and w. Texas to wc. Mexico in ne. Sonora, Guanajuato, Mexico, Distrito Federal, Hidalgo and Nuevo Leon. S. Mexico (e. Chiapas) and w. Guatemala.
N. population winters in Mexico and Guatemala.
