Highly fragmented distribution thoughtout most of its range;
(1) Nigeria, n. Cameroon, s. Chad, Zaire, e. Sudan and Ethiopia s. locally to Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, ne. Namibia, n. and e. Botswana, Zimbabwe and e. South Africa.
(2) Sw. Angola.
(3) Sw. Congo and nw. Angola.
