E. and s. Asia;
Two populations;
(1) Ne. Asia in s. Siberia, China, Kuril Is. and Japan.
Winters to se. Asia and Australia (n. Western Australia to c. Northern Territory, Queensland, c. South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria) and Tasmania.
(2) Himalayas and n. India.
(3) C. Burma, nw. Thailand, Malaysia, c. Vietnam and s. China. Ryukyu and Izu Is. and n. Philippines
(4) Taiwan.
