Range
Moluccas. C. and e. New Guinea. Sw., nw., n. and e. Australia;
About five populations;
(1) N. Moluccas (Morotai, Halmahera, Becan, Obi).
(2) C. and e. New Guinea e. from the Merauke River and Sepik River and including Manam and Karkar Is.
(3) Coastal nw., n. and ne. Australia (n. Western Australia, Northern Territory (Victoria River Roadhouse, Waterfall Creek in Kakadu National Park), Queensland at Karumbra and on Cape York Peninsula s. to the Endeavour River and islands in the sw. Torres Strait).
(4) Coastal sw. Australia. E. and se. Australia s. from base of the Cape York Peninsula, Queensland (Atherton Tablelands at Kingfisher Park), New South Wales, e. South Australia and Victoria.
