Australia;
Interior Australia and drier coastal areas from sw. to w. Western Australia (Peron Peninsula, Cape Range National Park and at the Wyndham Caravan Park), n. South Australia and ex. sc. Northern Territory (Kunoth Well), ex. nw. Victoria, New South Wales (Round Hill National Park) and sc. Queensland (Eulo Bore).
Disperses into n. Western Australia, n. Northern Territory and n. Queensland. Winters in Moluccas, New Guinea and Aru Is.
