New Guinea and ex. ne. Australia;
Two populations;
(1) W. Papuan Is. and nw. New Guinea.
(2) C. and e. New Guinea.
(3) Ne. Australia (ne. Queensland, coastal e. Cape York Peninsula in the Iron Range National Park s. to Cooktown and w. in the Atherton Tablelands at Mount Lewis) and Aru Is.
