Range

N. Oriental region;
N. Pakistan, n. and ne. India, Burma, e., c. and w. China, se. Siberia, Korea and Japan.
Migrant in Taiwan.
Winters mostly on the Indian Subcontinent and seldom in se. Africa and Madagascar.
