Range

Interior s. South America;
Se. Bolivia (se. Santa Cruz), Paraguay, n. Argentina (Formosa, Chaco, Santa Fe) and adjacent sw. Brazil (s. Mato Grosso, Pantanal (Rio Paraguay, Pixiam)).
Introduced in se. United States (Florida). Feral populations in vicinity of Buenos Aires city and Canada.
