Range

Madagascar, Comoro Is. and Seychelles Is.;
Three populations;
(1) Comoro Is. (Grand Comoro and Anjouan Is.) and n. Seychelles (Praslin and Curieuse Is.).
(2) E. Madagascar.
Introduced to Mauritius.
(3) W. Madagascar.
