Range

Madagascar;
(1) Coastal Madagascar (Ifaty).
(2) Sw. Madagascar.
Introduced to Comoro Is., Seychelles (Mahe) Is. and Mascarene (Rodrigues). Also introduced to, but extirpated from, Mauritius and Zanzibar.
