Senegambia, s. Mali, sw. Niger, c. Nigeria, Cameroon, sw. Chad, Central African Republic, c. and s. Sudan, n. Ethiopia, Uganda (Bwindi National Park) s. to Angola, Zambia, e. Zimbabwe and ne. South Africa (ex. e. Transvaal).
