Range
Moluccas and New Guinea;
Two main populations and numerous small island populations;
(1) Moluccas (Morotai, Halmahera, Kayoa, Becan, Obi, Buru, Ambon, Seram and Seram Laut).
(2) New Guinea, w. Papuan Is. (Misool, Waigeo, Salawati, Yapen, Mios Num), Manam Is., Karkar Is. and D'Entrecasteaux Archipelago (Goodenough, Fergusson Is.).
(3) Biak Is. in Geelvink Bay.
