Europe and w. Asia;
(1) Europe (British Isles (England) and s. Scandinavia and Finland across c. Russia to sw. Siberia (upper Ob River) s. to France (Loire Valley), Portugal and nw. Africa (Morocco), Balearic Is., Sardinia, Sicily, Turkey, n. Iran, Transcaucacus, Caspian Sea, Turkestan, Uzbekistan and ne. Kazakhstan (Semipalatinsk).
(2) N. Iran.
(3) Afghanistan, e. Uzbekistan, Tadjikistan, and the n. Kirgiz steppes e. to w. Chian (Tien Shan and Tarim Basin to Lop Nur, E. Xinjiang).
