Europe e. to c. Asia and s. to n. Africa;
(1) Azores, Canary Is., Europe from the British Isles e. across c. and s. Russia to Kazakhstan (upper Irgiz River) and sw. Siberia.
(2) Balearic Is. and nw. Africa from Morocco to Iran, n. Afghanistan and India to ex. nw. China (w. Sinkiang e. to ne. Kansu and s. Tsinghai).
(3) E. Libya, Egypt (Dakhla and Kharga oases) and n. Sudan (Faiyum).
(4) S. Sahara in the Air Massif and Hoggar Mountains.
