New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago and n. Australia;
Fragmented island populations;
(1) W. New Guinea along coast from Geelvink Bay to se. end of the island and Aru Is.
(2) S. New Guinea.
(3) Se. New Guinea, n. and ne. Australia (n. Northern Territory (Darwin area) and ne. Queensland (Iron Range National Park, Port Douglas, Cairns, Michaelmas Cay) s. to Mackay area), D'Entrecasteaux Archipelago, Louisiade Archipelago and Lord Howe Is.
(4) N. Western Australia (Kimberley Region).
(5) Bismarck Archipelago including the Admiralty Is.
