Range

Sw. Pacific islands; Fragmented island populations;
(1) C. and e. Caroline Is. (Chuuk and Pohnpei Is.).
(2) E. Caroline Is. (Kosrae Is. and Truk).
Formerly also in the sw, Marshall Is. (Ebon Is.).
(3) Fiji (Vatulele, Makogai, Wakaya, Yadua and Lau group), Tonga and Niue.
A hybrid population occurs on Tonga (Wallis, Futuna and Niuafo'ou).
(4) Samoan Is.
