C. and e. Asia;
(1) Himalayas of c. Asia from Kazakhstan, Turkestan and n. India (Kashmir, Ladakh (Tso Moriri)), Sikkim, and s. Tibet.
(2) S. Siberia (Altai and Lake Baikal regions e. through Transbaicalia to Amurland and Ussuriland), n. China (Qinghai, Kinkiang e. to Manchuria and s. to Szechwan, nw. Yunnan and Shantung) and Korea.
