Range

N. New Guinea;
(1) Yapen and Biak Is. in Geelvink Bay where it has possibly been introduced.
(2) N. coast of New Guinea from the Siriwo River e. in the vicinity of Jayapura, Astrolobe Bay and Collingwood Bay.
