Range

N. Africa, s. Arabia and e. Middle East;
Three populations;
(1) N. Africa in the Sahara Desert from s. Morocco, Western Sahara and Algeria e. to n. Sudan, Egypt and the Red Sea and s. to Mauritania, Niger, n. Chad, w. Sudan and Socotra Is.
(2) Sinai peninsula and adjacent areas of Israel and Jordan.
(3) Hilly country in interior Oman.
(4) S. Arabia, Iraq and Iran to s. Afghanistan.
(5) W. Pakistan and possibly w. India.
