Coasts of Siberia, Sakhalin Is., s. Kuril Is., e. Korea, Japan, the Aleutian Is., sc. and se. Alaska (Barren Is, Middleton Is., St. Lazaria Is. and Forrester Is.), w. Canada and w. United States (Farallon Is. off c. California).
Winters s. to Japan and Baja.
