Circumpolar; Southern Ocean; Sw. Atlantic Ocean;
Three breeding population on subantarctic is.;
(1) South Georgia, Staten Is. off s. Argentina and Falkland Is. in the s. Atlantic Ocean. In the s. Indian Ocean on Marion, Prince Edward, Crozet, Kerguelen and Heard Is. In the s. Pacific Ocean on Macquarie and Balleny Is. Disperses n. to Tasmania, Campbell Is. and New Zealand.
(2) In the s. Atlantic Ocean off the Antarctic Peninsula s. to ca. 65°S (Antarctica), South Shetlands, South Sandwich, South Orkney Is.
