N. Mariana Is. (Guguan) e. to Wake Is., n. Marshall Is., Johnston Atoll, and the Hawaiian Is. Kure e. to Kaula and Moku Manu off Oahu then s. through Kiribati (Line Is. and Phoenix Is.) to Fiji and e. to Austral Is. and Tuamotu Is. and possibly Samoa and Society Is.
Formerly Easter Is.
Disperses w. to n. Moluccas. Reports from the Caroline Is. (Palau and Yap) are questionable;
