Range

Nw. Indian Ocean, Red Sea and Persian Gulf;
Coasts of the Red Sea form Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia and Kenya, the Persian Gulf (Abu Dhabi) and nw. Indian Ocean to the w. coast of India off Malvan in Maharashtra to the Laccadive Is.
