Canada from se. British Columbia, c. Alberta, c. Saskatchewan, c. Manitoba and s. Ontario s. in the United States to s. California, w. Nevada, sc. Idaho, nc. Utah and then from n. and e. Colorado e. to nw. Indiana, ec. Michigan.
Winters along the Atlantic coast from s. Masschuetts and s. New York s. to South Carolina and Florida and along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico from Louisiana to ne. Mexico (n. Tamaulipas), Guatemala, Costa Rica and the Greater Antilles. Occasionally s. to Panama.
