Range
Sw. North Ameria;
W. United States (California on Alcatraz Is. and Shell Beach in San Luis Obispo County) and Benito del Centro and San Roques Islets off the Pacific coast of Baja, islands in the Gulf of California, and off Sonora s. to Sinaloa in w. Mexico (George, Baza, Salsipuedes, Ildefonso, Montserrat and Isla Isabela).
Winters n. to w. Canada (British Columbia) and s. to Guatemala.
