Taymyr Peninsula, Severnaya Zemlya, New Siberian Is., Bennet Is. and Wrangel Is. s to w. and n. Europe from the British Isles s. to Portugal and nw. Russia on the Kola Peninsula.
Winters s. to the Sargasso Sea, off the e. United States, Azores and w. Africa.
