Range
Ec. Asia;
Fragmented, uncertain distribution;
Mongolia, China (coast of Jiangsu, Shuangtaizihekou National Nature Reserve, Liaoning and Hong Kong in Mai Po marshes) and Japan (Hakata Bay on n. shore of Kyushu). Migrates through South Korea (Saemangeum wetlands, Suncheon Bay and Youngjong-do Is.).
Winter along coasts of e. China, Hainan and Taiwan. Possibly as far w. as East Africa and Sri Lanka.
