Russia (Crimea), Caucasus, Transcausas, ne. Turkey, c. Russia, ec. Turkestan, n. India (Kashmir e. to Arunachal Pradesh), n., and c. China, se. Siberia, Japan and Izu Is. and probably n. Ryukyu is.
Winter in w. and s. Europe, n. Africa to se. Asia, Taiwan and n. Philippines (n. Luzon).
