Range

Ec. Asia;
Sc. Siberia in ex. se. Transbaicalia, Mongolia and n. China (Manchuria from Heilungkiang s. to w. Loaoning and Inner Mongolia).
Winters s. to Indonesia and Australia in all coastal areas and inland in Western Australia, Northern Territory (Mamukala and the RAAF station on Lee Point near Darwin), w. and e. Queensland (Yarrabah Turf Farm near Cairns), e. and s. New South Wales, Victoria, s. and c. South Australia and Tasmania.
