N., e. and s. South America;
(1) Panama (Gamboa), Colombia, e. Ecuador, Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana and n. Brazil n. of the Amazon.
(2) S. from the Amazon delta in e. and c. Brazil (Bahia, Chapada Diamantina) to n. and e. Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay to c. Argentina probably s. to Buenos Aires.
(3) Argentina and c. Chile s. to Chiloe Is. and Comodoro Rivadivia.
(4) S. Chile s. from Atacama and s. Argentina from Mendoza and Rio Negro to Tierra del Fuego.
