Ex. e. Europe and w. Asia;
C. Asia in Cs. Russia from e. Ukraine and the lower Volga River valley e. and s. to c. Kazakhstan (Tengiz Lakes region) and the Kirghiz steppes in the Lake Balkhash region and n. India.
Migrant in the plains between Irbid and Mafraq, Jordan.
Winters in Israel (Hula Valley), ne. Africa, and sw. Asia.
