Ex. sw. Mauritania, s. Mali, Senegambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, s. Niger, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic to Lake Chad, n. in the Nile Valley through Egypt, and c. Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia and s. to n. Zaire, n. Uganda and nw. Kenya.
