E. of the Andes from ec. Peru, c. and s. Bolivia, se. Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul (Cassino), Mato Grosso (Pantanal)), Paraguay and Uruguay to sc. Argentina (Rio Negro), n . and c. Chile (Antofagasta to Llanquihue).
