Baja (San Benito Is. and Gulf of California) s. to s. Mexico. W. coast of South America in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru to c. Chile (Chiloe Is.). E. coast of South America from Colombia s. to e. Brazil (e. Bahia), sc. Argentina and most islands n. of Venezuela e. to Trinidad.
