Turkey (Konya Basin) e. to Ukraine and Black Sea e. to Caspian Sea s. to the Caucasus, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Turkestan, Kirghiz steppes and the Altai, sw. Transcaspia, n. Iran, w. and ne. China, Mongolia and cs. Siberia in Transbaicalia.
