Chad, s. Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, s. Somalia, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, w. and c. Kenya (Kenyan highlands n. to Mt. Marsabit and Huri Hills, in s. after heavy rains in Mara Game Reserve, Amboseli, Shimba Hill National Park), n. Tanzania (Mkomazi Game Reserve and Arusha National Park w. to the Lake Victoria basin), Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique, ne. Namibia, s. and e. Botswana, and Zimbabwe.
(2) Se. Africa (e. Transvaal, Natal and ex. e. Cape Province).
