Fragmented distribution;
W. Western Australia. C. and e. Australia from s. Northern Territory and c. Queensland s. from Cairns area through New South Wales (Leeton Swamp and Avalon Swamp), Australian Capital Territory (Kelly's Swamp) to Victoria (Werribee) and w. to e. South Australia (Eyre Peninsula). Tasmania.
