E. and se. Brazil (w. Bahia in the dunes of San Francisco, Barra), Paraguay, Uruguay and ne. Argentina (e. Formosa, Chaco, Corrientes, Misiones, n. Santa Fe, Entre Rios, and n. Buenos Aires).
