Highly fragmented distribution;
(1) Sierra Leone, Liberia, Togo, Nigeria, s. Cameroon, Gabon, Congo to s. Central African Republic.
(2) Ce., sc. and ne. Zaire to Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, n. and w. Kenya e. to Timboroa and Molo.
(3) C. Kenya (Nairobi and Thika) and n. Tanzania (East Usambara Mountains, Pemba Is., Zanzibar) to Angola, ne. Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa (Transvaal, e. Orange Free State, Natal, e. and s. Cape Province).
