Range

N. South America e. of the Andes and n. of the Amazon;
(1) Ne. Venezuela (se. Sucre, ne. Monagas and Bolivar), Guyana, Surinam, Guiana and ne. Brazil (Amapa).
(2) N. upper Amazonia in se. Colombia (n. to Meta), s. Venezuela (Amazonas), e. Ecuador, ne. Peru and Brazil n. of the Amazon from Roraima and along Rio Solimoes and Rio Negro.
