Range

Ex. ec. Asia;
Two populations;
Ne. Mongolia, ne. China (Manchuria, Zhhalong Nature Reserve in Heilongjiang) and ex. se. Siberia. N. Japan (Kushiro, Akkeshi-ko Benkanbeushi Marshes and Lake Furen, Nemuro City, ne. Hokkaido).
Migrates from the Kuril Is. to Hokkaido.
Winters in n. Japan (Hokkaido), Korea and ce. China w. to Shannxi Province and mostly in and around Jiangsu, Yancheng Nature Reserve.
