Range

E. Indian Subcontinent, se. Asia, Sumatra and Java;
(1) Ex. n. Pakistan, n. India (Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh and Assam) s. to c. India (Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh to ne. Andhra Pradesh on both banks of the Godavari River and e. to Orissa, Bihar, W. Bengal), Bangladesh.
(2) S. China (sw. Yunnan), n. Indochina and Burma.
(3) N. Vietnam.
(4) S. Indochina, Thailand, Malaya and Sumatra.
(5) Java and Bali.
Possibly introduced Sulawesi and the Philippines.
