Fragmented distribution;
Lowlands in se. Mexico (Veracruz, n. Oaxaca, Tabasco, Chiapas, Campeche, Quintana Roo), n. Guatemala (Peten), Belize (Blue Hole National Park) to w. Panama. Highlands in c. Guatemala, Honduras, nc. Nigcaragua, Costa Rica and ex. w. Panama (w. Chiriqui).
