Range

Ce. Siberia;
E. Transbaicalia, e. to the s. Stanovoi Range, ca. 120°W, and s. Yukutia, Aldan River, Little Chingan Mountains s. to 44°S in the Amur River Basin in Amurland, the w. coast of the Sea of Okhotsk n. to 60°N, Ayan and n. Ussuriland, Sakhalin Is. and ne. China (Manchuria in ex. n. Heliongjiang in the Amur River Valley and Xiao Hinggan Ling range) in severe winters. It occurs in three nature reserves: the Zeiski Nature Reserve in the w. Amur Region, the Komsomolski Nature Reserve in the ne. Amur region and the Sikhote-Alin Nature Reserve (Sikhote-Alin Mountains) in n. Ussuriland.
