C. to s. South America;
C. Peru and c. Bolivia e. and s. of the Amazon from its Delta through Brazil in Bahia (Chapada Diamantina) s. of the Amazon to Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile and Argentina to s. to Tierra del Fuego and the Falkland Is.
